1. You're still flying United. With Q1 earnings coming up for some major airlines, we thought we'd make a pretty little airplane pictograph. Oh, also United has not really been taking a hit (just a publicity hit) from all of the bad press out there. It's stock rebounded after the initial drag (pun very much intended) from it's latest blunder but it still tops most other major airlines in terms of monthly active users.
2. Cut the cord. YouTube TV launched in five US cities [New York, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Philadelphia,Chicago] on April 5th. Through the 11th it has received 147k downloads, 73% of which come from Google Play.
3. Nostalgia battle. Power Rangers: Legacy Wars just edges Transformers: Forged to Fight for worldwide downloads five days after launch.
4. Back to work. Vacation season is over and the weather is getting nicer. App downloands in the travel cateogry reflect this with a significant 50% drop from February to March. February saw 42.5M downloads while March came in at 21.5M.
