Today, we're thrilled to announce the launch of Apptopia for Google Chrome. It's just one more step in our master plan to get mobile intelligence into the tools you rely on every day.

Apptopia for Chrome makes it easy to find performance details on any app or publisher right from your web browser. The extension transforms any app listing, LinkedIn page, or company website into a complete performance profile, making it easier for your team to prospect and research the competition. You can even break down the data by market or store.

And just like our Slack app, Apptopia for Chrome is available for free.

Here’s how it works.

Why We Built a Chrome App

Nearly 60% of all web browsing is done using Google Chrome.

So, whether you are building a prospect list or researching an app or publisher... chances are high that you are using Google Chrome to do it.

As we shared last week, we believe data becomes infinitely more valuable when it can be put it to use -- not when it's locked away in a web app.

And that's the whole reason why we built Apptopia for Chrome.

It makes Apptopia's performance data (downloads, active users, revenue, and rank) accessible as you are browsing a company website, viewing a LinkedIn company page, or checking out an app. No look up needed, the data is just 'there'.

A Free + Paid Version

Just like our Slack App, we tried to keep things pretty straightforward. With the 100% free version, our data will be provided in ranges. For paying customers, you'll get precise estimates.

Getting Started

2. Navigate to the website of any app or publisher (for instance,

3. Click the Apptopia icon in your toolbar and sign into your free or paid account. If you don't have an account, you can sign up for one here.

3. Browse to any publisher website, app listing, or LinkedIn company page.

The Apptopia icon will 'light up' when our data is ready.

Can we ask a favor?

Apptopia for Chrome is in Open Beta. That means we need your help (and feedback) to make it amazing. Can you check out the app and tell us how to make it better? We would love to hear your feedback.

You can hit us up on twitter, chat, or email. Even... Slack.
